Making an appointment:

To make an appointment, please call us on 9322 3363, or send email, or use our online appointment request form and our friendly receptionists will endeavor to find a suitable timeslot. We strive to provide an appointment within 24 hours and maintain appointment punctuality. We have in place strategies to ensure that delays are kept to a minimum.

What to bring:

If referred by a doctor please bring the referral letter and X-rays (if available). If your visit is in relation to a worker’s compensation or third party claim, please bring your insurance information to your first appointment.

What to wear:

If you have a shoulder or upper back injury it is wise to wear a loose fitting singlet. If you have a back injury a top & pants, skirts or shorts is sufficient. For a leg injury a skirt or shorts is ideal.

Private patients:

If you are a member of a private health fund, please bring you private health insurance card which will enable us to claim your rebate back immediately through a system called HICAPS.

Most health insurance policies cover physiotherapy treatment and some cover remedial massage treatment. Rebates for treatment are dependent on your level of insurance and do not require a doctor’s referral. The remainder of your account can be paid by cash, EFTPOS or credit card. Payment is required at the time of your appointment.

Motor Vehicle Accident and Workers Compensation:

You will need a doctor referral before commencing treatment. For a motor vehicle accident you need to obtain a claim number from ICWA (Insurance Commission of WA) and once you claim is established we can bill the insurer direct. For Worker’s Compensation Claims, you will need to notify your employer and obtain a first medical certificate from your doctor.

Medicare/Enhanced Primary Care (EPC):

Medicare will now partly pay for physiotherapy with private practice physiotherapists.
An EPC plan is issued by your family doctor and this will allow for a maximum of 5 physiotherapy treatments in a one year period. Payment is required at the physiotherapy consultation and the receipt that you receive from our practice is then taken to a Medicare office (one is located 50 m from our office). You will then receive an immediate reimbursement for the majority of the account.

Cancellations:

Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please inform us at least 6 hours prior to your appointment time. Broken appointments without notification will be charged at a rate of $50 per session.
