At City Physiotherapy our therapists utilize a number of treatment methods including manipulation therapy, mobilisation therapy, Mulligan’s & McKenzie techniques, soft tissue manipulation, dry needling & electrotherapeutic modalities. We will also structure individual & specific exercise programs to assist your recovery.
Ashlee graduated from the University of Notre Dame (Fremantle Campus) obtaining the Elizabeth Henley Endeavour Award for having the greatest endeavor' during her final year at university.
She is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has completed an introductory course for dry needling (acupuncture).
Ashlee worked as a sports trainer for Maddington Football Club whilst studying as a physiotherapy student. Previously she worked at Medibank Health Solutions which provided her with a broad exposure to musculoskeletal physiotherapy and a greater expertise in assessing impact on day to day activities.
Ashlee has a passion for sport and has represented Victoria in badminton, softball and volleyball. She understands the implications an injury can pose to your exercise regime as well as the impacts on your daily life. Ashlee believes that a mixture of manual therapy, education, self management and a personalised structured exercise program is crucial to rehabilitation of an injury.
Damien graduated from the University of Notre Dame (Fremantle campus) and also holds a bachelor of science in human biology. Damien has a keen interest in all areas of sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He enjoys treating the wide variety of injuries that both the sporting and workplace environment create and has developed special interests in neck and low back pain.
Damien is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Sports Medicine Australia. Damien has completed training in dry needling (acupuncture) and clinical Pilates, he believes together with manual therapy, exercise and a “can do” attitude these elements provide a well-rounded approach to treatment.
Damien has a keen interest in a wide variety of sports and enjoys keeping active. This has lead to working with several local football and netball teams in the local community. His hobbies include golf, running and mixed martial arts.
Tony graduated from Sydney University in 1990 and moved to Perth that same year to enjoy the benefits of the Perth lifestyle. Tony joined City Physiotherapy in 1991 and has worked in the city continually for over 20 years. His areas of interest include neck & back pain & sports injuries in particular those relating to endurance events.
Tony's initial interest in the field of endurance events began with his early work on assessments of running biomechanics & fitness testing. He has pursued this interest in by gaining a level 3 coaching qualifications in middle & long distance running which gives him an intimate understanding of these athletes. His own participation in these events culminating at the 2007 Busselton Ironman has further helped in his quest to deliver the best quality of treatment to endurance athletes.
Tony has also gained coaching qualifications in rugby & has been active in both the rugby & soccer communities for many years.
Tony is a member of the APA & national sports physiotherapy group.
Kelsey is an experienced massage therapist having held the position of director of massage for the Busselton Ironman. Kelsey also gained valuable experience in sports massage through her work as a massage therapist for both the Busselton Ironman & The Hawaiian Ride for Youth cycle tour.
Kelsey holds a Diploma Of Remedial Massage Therapy & has 3 years clinical experience working as a qualified massage therapist.
Kelsey has a keen interest in trigger point therapy, sports massage Swedish massage, deep tissue & massage in pregnancy
Helen Dezille is our main receptionist whose friendly disposition will make you feel welcome and comfortable.
